Pageview analytics (Vercel Analytics)

This site uses Vercel Analytics, a privacy-preserving analytics service. It records aggregate page view counts and referrer information. It does not use cookies, does not fingerprint your device, and does not collect or store any personally identifiable information (PII). No IP address is stored by this service.

The legal basis for this processing under GDPR is our legitimate interest in understanding which pages are useful to visitors, without tracking individuals.

Feedback widget

Some pages show a "Did this answer your question?" widget. If you interact with it, the following is recorded server-side:

  • A page identifier (which page the feedback came from)
  • Your thumbs-up / thumbs-down response
  • An optional free-text comment, if you choose to type one
  • A timestamp

No name, email address, IP address, or device identifier is collected. The data is written to a temporary file on the server. On the Vercel hosting platform the filesystem is ephemeral — records do not persist beyond the lifetime of a single server function instance and are not stored in any database.

A first-party browser cookie named fb_[page-id] is set after you submit feedback. Its only purpose is to show a "thanks" state instead of the voting widget on your next visit. It expires after 30 days and contains no personal data. No third-party cookie is set by this widget.

The legal basis for this processing under GDPR is our legitimate interest in improving the accuracy and completeness of the guide.

Third-party links

Some pages contain links to external sites. When you follow an external link you leave this site, and the third party's own privacy policy applies. This site has no control over, and accepts no responsibility for, the content or privacy practices of any linked external site.

Your rights under GDPR

If you are located in the EU/EEA, you have the following rights regarding any personal data we hold:

  • Right of access — to know what data is held about you
  • Right to rectification — to correct inaccurate data
  • Right to erasure — to request deletion of your data
  • Right to restrict processing
  • Right to data portability
  • Right to object to processing based on legitimate interests

In practice, the feedback widget does not collect any identifier that would let us link a record back to you. If you submitted free-text feedback and wish to have it removed, please email us or open an issue (see Contact below) with the approximate date and page URL, and we will delete the record to the extent it is still accessible.
