About This Site

Independent — not affiliated

China Pay Guide is an independently operated reference site. It has no affiliation, partnership, or sponsorship with Alipay, WeChat Pay, Tencent, Ant Group, or any payment provider. Brand names are used purely for descriptive identification.

How content is maintained

Pages are reviewed and updated on a monthly cycle. Sources used include the official Alipay and WeChat Pay help centres, in-app verification flows tested directly, and reports from real users encountered in the feedback widget.

Every page shows a "Last verified" date so you can tell how recently the information was checked. Payment app policies change without notice — if something looks out of date, please email us or file an issue (see below).

China Pay Guide is written and maintained by Zixuan Huang (黄紫玄), an independent developer based in Guangzhou, China. The source is hosted on GitHub under the account huangzixuan1090.
